    Professional Experience

    Kelly Services/Tokyo Electron

Supply Management Analyst October 2024 - Present

Enroll/Manage vendors in a SAP system called Ariba. Attention to detail and handling PII with confidentiality. Updated reports of the various vendors in our system using SAP and Excel. Reviewed credit histories of vendors to determine credit-worthiness. Worked with teammates in managing influx of vendor requests.

    Meta Platforms/Formerly Facebook

Intellectual Property Specialist October 2018 - November 2022

Reviewed reports of intellectual property infringement from third party reporting agencies/businesses. Weighed legal litigation risk when reviewing reports. If I didn't enforce our policies correctly, it opened the business to litigation if there were any errors in enforcement. Most were subjective calls based on trademark, copyright, and counterfeit laws interpreted and reviewed by the legal team. Followed a decision tree with leeway for interpretation of how to apply the decision tree.

Applied at scale solutions for millions of reports received from various third parties. Operationalized our approach to these events developing queues for our response. Became an industry leading standard in response time to these alleged IP infringements.

Project management in that I would develop process improvement projects on how to better respond to these events/infringement cases. With the assistance of teammates and Legal, developed better policies for enforcing on these IP infringements to reduce legal/litigation risk.

Analyzed and interpreted data flows to assist in our development of projects. Since the company received so many reports (in the millions), I would analyze reports to determine how to best modulate our responses to these reports and draw improvement projects from the analysis. How could I best mitigate the impact of these millions of reports to our workforce and yet provide world-class service?

Collaborated with Legal teams, Data teams, Tools teams and other teams in standing up projects for improvements to these queues. As well developing/crafting policy for response to the ip infringement reports. Focusing on drawing from trademark and copyright law as interpreted by the Legal team.

    Accenture (for Facebook)

Content Review Specialist January 2018 - October 2018

Reviewed reports of alleged intellectual property infringement under the guidance of the Legal team using a decision tree to inform/guide decisions. Provided feedback to the Legal team on how to improve on these decision trees based on the volume of reports reviewed. A typical day had us review about 100 reports and to become more efficient, my teammates and I provided feedback in the form of questions, analysis of trends and patterns, ideas on improving response times.

Under Accenture, I was also given the responsibility of training new hires of the teams policies and how to best provide feedback.

    BCFoward under Accenture

Content Review Agent October 2016 - December 2017

Reviewed reports of copyright infringement under the guidance of the Legal team. Learned copyright principles and applied those learnings to my reviews of these reports. Reviewing these reports had a time limit of 12 minutes. I had to resolve the reports in under 12 minutes in order to fall within our contractual agreements. Escalated reports to Legal if they were determined too risky to review by agents.

Collaborated with team mates to review Facebook pages for copyright infringements, those that were determined to fall within a certain threshold of containing 'too much' copyrighted material that could be construed as infringing. While maintaining the integrity of the platform as a sharing platform. People could share content, but at what point would they become infringing of another's copyright? Those were the kinds of questions that were posed when reviewing content.
