    Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism

    Chief Counsel November 2015 - Present

    Lead and facilitate the advancement of ethics, professionalism, civility and integrity among judges, lawyers and law students across Illinois under the direction of the Illinois Supreme Court.
    • Advise the Supreme Court’s boards and task forces with particular focus on technology implementation and e-business related statutes, rules, regulations and public policy.
    • Collaborate with the leadership team concerning administration and governance, strategic planning, budget and relationship building with stakeholders.
    • Track emerging trends and advance thought leadership positions in novel ethical issues, regulatory structures and legal technology including generative AI.
    • Facilitate strategic initiatives and partnerships throughout the legal profession including courts, bar associations and law firms to address issues from ethics to well-being to ESG.
    • Supervise team’s program development, delivery and outreach of professionalism initiatives to members of the Illinois bench and bar.
