    – Identifying and analyzing existing practises in the EU and in third countries related to reporting network and information security incidents. This constituted an important preparatory activity in view of one of the one envisaged components of the European Strategy for Internet Security, which relates to extending the obligation to report security breaches beyond the electronic communications sector. The analysis was included in the Staff Working Paper that has been produced in preparation of the European Strategy for Internet Security;
    – Participating in discussions within the Unit on Article 13(a) of the Framework Directive for electronic communications and networks;
    – Participating in events concerning Network and Information security matters;
    – Analysing studies and reports relevant to Network and Information security
