    • Advise Human Resources’ partners, clients, and C-Suite on the intricacies of various state and federal laws governing leave, vaccination, testing, office reopenings, and essential businesses due to the COVID-19 pandemic;

    • Collaborate with counsel to draft company policies and legal updates for clients to ensure compliance with changes in relevant state and/or federal law;

    Assisted the Labor and Employment Pod Counsel in managing and advising clients on all aspects of Human Resources and Employment issues across a wide range of areas: i.e. Print, Broadcasting, and Business to Business solutions. 

     

    • Drafted reference guides for various Hearst policies and acted as a resource for all questions concerning the same;

    • Educated clients on Hearst’s Independent Contractor policy and drafted subsequent agreements;  and

    • Partnered with Human Resources and counsel to manage and implement Reductions in Force and draft Severance Agreements.


    Colgate-Palmolive Company

    Senior Paralegal 2011 - 2017

    Coordinated with the Litigation, Human Resources, and Compliance Group to improve legal workflow efficiency and processes to better serve business functions.

     

    • Redesigned and formalized the Global Legal Organization’s Litigation Hold and Data Preservation process which led to the streamlining of the collection, tracking, review, and storage of hundreds of terabytes of employee data for Colgate;

    • Managed and facilitated the revision of the quarterly and annual Global Litigation Matters report; and

    • Oversaw numerous Litigation projects requiring coordination of outside counsel, hiring and supervision of Independent Contractors, and the tracking of project milestones to meet company deadlines.
