Provide legal support for patent litigation in computer science and software fields, including legal research, technical analysis of patents in the software and hardware areas, and drafting various agreements such as freedom to operate, non-disclosure agreements, license agreements and IP provisions in commercial agreements. Research various IP matters involving copyright, patents, trademarks and trade secrets. Write and draft documents to meet the clients’ IP requirements. Communicate with clients and assist partners in negotiating, interpreting and advising clients on IP agreements, including Latin American clients. Communicate with LatAm clients and draft legal memorandum in Spanish regarding IP agreements.
JD, LLM or foreign equivalent degree, plus Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer and Information Science, Software Engineering, or closely related IT field. Must be admitted to practice law in New York or seek the New York Bar admission within 4 months of passing the Bar exam.
Must be fluent (written and spoken) in Spanish to communicate with LatAm clients.
Must travel to company offices and attend business-related events throughout the U.S., 1-2 trips per year.

The expected pay range for this position is:
Range: $225,000 - $250,000
Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
