Our client is a well-established AmLaw 200 firm with over 30 areas of practice. They are looking for an Administrative Paralegal to join their team in Greensboro, NC. In this role you would perform several complex secretarial and administrative support functions for two or more high powered commercial litigation Attorneys. This role will be onsite for the first 90 days, then transition to a hybrid schedule of 1-day WFH, 4 onsite. Responsibilities include:Assist in preparing, filing, and serving court documents by mail or electronically via court e-filing or PACER CM/ECF.Proofread and review motions, briefs, and other court papers prior to filing.Draft court papers, including one-page motions, proposed orders, certificates of service, entries of appearance, transmittal affidavits, letters, and verifications to complaints, as well as correspondence and memos.Ensure all litigation case files are maintained according to attorney protocols and case management systems.Assist in managing large litigation databases.Participate in preparation for depositions, court proceedings, and trials.Create and organize materials for hearings, such as casebooks and briefing binders.Manage calendars, organize, and schedule external and internal meetings and teleconferences, maintain a diary for court dates, and follow up as needed.Open, maintain, and close client files.Handle client contact via phone, email, and in-person.Maintain attorney credit card reconciliations, time entry, and other internal procedures. Requirements:Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.Ability to analyze and synthesize information from various sources and present findings clearly.High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team.Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.Demonstrates close attention to detail. Qualifying Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Paralegal certification preferred.3+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal administrative assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department.Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation; familiarity with state and federal court systems.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), legal research tools and document management systems.Strong research skills and proficiency in using various research tools, including the Internet, Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and other court-related websites.Strong production skills, with the ability to produce accurate work products when formatting documents, inputting data, editing, copying, scanning, and transmitting text, data, and graphics. An understanding of Microsoft Word Styles functionality is required.Demonstrated ability with complex court filings in both paper and electronic (e-filing) formats.
