Cooley LLP has an opportunity available for an associate to work with the employment and labor practice group in our Reston, Virginia or Washington, DC office. Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a desire to support the team in their fast paced advice and counsel practice. Three to five years of broad experience and sophistication in the area of employment counseling are ideal, especially as it pertains to statutory and regulatory compliance, executive employment and separation agreements, and employment dimensions of M&A transactions.  Some litigation experience is a plus.  Qualified candidates should have strong academic credentials and communication skills. The expected annual pay range for this position is $260,000-$365,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
