Job Overview – Legal Administrative Assistant:
Support our client as a Legal Administrative Assistant in Montgomery County, PA. This in-office role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to legal professionals, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth operations within a fast-paced legal environment. You’ll play a key role in coordinating schedules, preparing legal documents, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism and organization.

Compensation: $55,000 – $75,000/year
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office)

Responsibilities as the Legal Administrative Assistant:

  • Document Management: Prepare, format, proofread, and file legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates while maintaining detailed calendars for legal professionals.
  • Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and providing updates on case matters.
  • Administrative Support: Manage correspondence, handle phone calls, and assist with billing and invoicing processes.
  • File Maintenance: Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring accessibility and security of sensitive information.

Qualifications for the Legal Administrative Assistant:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required (additional legal or administrative certifications are a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Legal Administrative or related role, preferably in a law firm or legal department.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and legal case management software.
  • Attributes: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor in client and colleague interactions.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with legal terminology, processes, and documentation requirements.
