Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our legal team. The successful candidate will conduct legal research, prepare and draft legal documents, and assist with a variety of administrative duties. This role involves working closely with attorneys and other legal professionals to ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, case law, and legal precedents to support legal strategies.Respond to requests for information and prepare appropriate deliverables.Draft legal documents, including contracts and correspondence, under the supervision of an attorney.Review and proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal standards.Identify risks associated with projects and performance constraints.Assist in a broad range of legal matters, including governance filings and reports, and contract management and administration.Handle client communications.Maintain databases for legal project work and contract management.Communicate work status, concerns, and expectations about project plans with the Chief Legal Officer and Legal Team.Comply with all legal regulations regarding EEO, standards of government contracting, environmental protection, and company policies.

Skills & Qualifications

Paralegal certification or other related field with a minimum of 1 year of related experience; OR associate’s degree in paralegal studies with 0-5 years of experience working as a paralegal in a law firm, corporate legal department, or government agency; OR a combination of education and experience may be considered.Paralegal Certificate requiredProficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and online legal databases.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software.Knowledge of legal terminology and legal document formats.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and legal team.

Work Environment

This position requires working in the office every day from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility in work hours if needed. The work environment is professional, collaborative, and supportive.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $36.00
