We have a great opportunity for someone with a strong legal background to be a Vice President of Business Development, Ad Sales. In this exciting new role, the Vice President, of Business Development, Ad Sales will be responsible for managing business development deals across Fox Advertising Sales (Fox Entertainment, Fox Sports, Fox News and Tubi). The Vice President of Business Development, Ad Sales will report to the SVP of Business Development. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESNegotiate all aspects of Ad Sales business development deals (including SSP/DSP agreements, licensing and syndication, lead generation, commerce and more).Interface with key stakeholder groups in the various business units to ensure proposed deal terms can be delivered and meet stakeholders’ objectivesCompile deal memos, and statements of work, and provide input to legal team on proof of concept agreements, partnership agreements, master services agreements, and other long-form agreements as part of document review process.Craft negotiating strategies to achieve desired deal outcomesEnsure agreements are completed within desired timeframes presuming key business points can be achieved.Review agreements for accuracy and ensuring desired business points are achievedTranslate business and tech terms into formal contract language and proficiency in negotiating business terms within the framework of legal documents.Multitask work quickly, efficiently and with accuracy on tight timelines.Manage a small Business Development deal team WHAT YOU WILL NEEDMust have experience in media, preferably in ad sales and/or business development7-10 years’ work experienceFormal legal training or significant experience working with legal documents preferredProficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and ExcelPrior experience negotiating digital agreements including ad tech, licensing and other digital rights/business arrangementsKnowledge of the digital ecosystem including familiarly with digital advertisingExcellent and effective negotiating skillsCreative thinking, specifically as it relates to resolving open issuesCareful attention to detailStrong communication skillsStrong initiative, self starter and ability to executeStrong instincts and excellent business judgment ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSMust be willing to work in person, in New York, NY #LI-DNI

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $185,500.00-259,500.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
