Harmony Biosciences is recruiting for a Manager, Legal Operations in our Plymouth Meeting, PA location. In this role you will be responsible for handling a wide range of contract management, document review, preparation of filings and executive administrative support related tasks for the Legal department at Harmony Biosciences.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for assisting the Associate Director, Legal Operations, with contract management in the Legal department electronic contracts management system, e.g., reviewing and accepting contract requests and contract finalization tasks for all contracts , and assist with contracts wherever required.
- Assists the Associate Director, Legal Operations, with the maintenance and updating of all virtual data rooms for transactions and processes.
- Assists in preparing legal correspondence, maintaining files, managing calendars and drafting legal documents.
- Assists with corporate entity management working directly with the Associate Director, Legal Operations, as needed.
- Assists with preparation and review of periodic SEC filings.
- Maintains accurate files and documentation.
- Handles highly sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner.
- Assists with preparing slide decks for the legal department for internal and external presentations.
- Prepares and assists with all state governmental filings and other governmental requests requiring information gathering.
- Communicates critical information clearly, accurately, honestly and concisely in accordance with company and department policies and procedures.
- Drafts and prepares corporate documentation, including board and committee meeting agendas and meeting minutes as needed.
- Liaises with other executive administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from company leaders.
- Supports attorneys in meeting deadlines through well-kept schedules and prompt reminders.
- Manages calendars and travel arrangements for members of the legal department.
- Liaises with business and legal department, and alerts leadership to contracts that need attention.
- Follows up on inquiries and resolving problems.
- Manages legal team expenses, vendor invoices, and billing relationships.
- Provides reporting and updates on projects, programs, and progress.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of contracts and/or paralegal experience in a law firm or the Legal/Contracts Department of a pharmaceutical company
- Experience in reviewing and understanding legal contracts and agreements
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Outlook
Physical demands and work environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision.
- Manual dexterity required to use computers, tablets, and cell phone.
- The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 20 pounds.
- Continuous sitting for prolonged periods.
