Responsibilities:

Develops, implements, and monitors company environmental compliance programs and policies within technical telecom facilities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulationsDevelops, implements, and monitors company safety programs and policies within technical facilities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulationsMonitors environmental and industrial compliance and maintains liaison with appropriate regulatory agenciesRecommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exist.Ability to inspect technical facilities to ensure compliance to all applicable regulations and safety requirementsStrong management, organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills to ensure an effective and well-run team of environmental compliance and safety specialists

Qualifications ( Include Education Requirements, Experience Level, Required Skills ):

Travel 50%Related Bachelor's degree and five years’ work experience with a minimum of five years environmental and safety regulatory experienceA minimum of three to five years of experience in applying OSHA and federal EPA regulationsA minimum of three to five years of experience managing technical or environmental activities in telecom or other technical facilitiesA minimum of three to five years of experience developing improved processes for reduced employee or facility riskA minimum of three to five years of experience managing direct reports or relevant experience.Strong management skills with the ability to effectively implement and oversee a team of compliance specialists; ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize projects and programs within a team structure; strong problem solving and troubleshooting skillsHigh-energy individual with interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate peers, and drive project to completion.Intermediate Microsoft application experience; ability to quickly and effectively learn internal systems/tools

Additional Desired Qualifications:

Experience in the telecommunications industry preferred COVID-19 Policy:
