About The Role
We’re looking for a resourceful and dynamic Paralegal to become a vital member of our Legal Department! Reporting to Figure’s Senior Corporate Paralegal, you will support all aspects of our fast-growing business.
What You’ll Do
Review, draft, and provide commentary on a variety of legal documents, including NDAs, vendor contracts and corporate documentsCollaborate with teams across the business to support the drafting, review, and execution of a wide array of legal documentsManage the contract lifecycle, including efficiently routing documents for signatures, cataloging executed contracts into a document database, and tracking contract statusesOversee the maintenance of a legal filing system, managing the retention and organization of electronic and paper documentsServe as the primary liaison between the Legal Department and internal stakeholders, addressing questions and issues and fielding them to the appropriate parties Collaborate with diverse teams across the business to research, draft and advise on legal documents Support a variety of complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, securitizations, and joint ventures, including assisting with due diligence and KYC requestsAssist with the management and administration of the company’s subsidiaries by managing corporate filings, governance documents, and ensuring compliance with local and state regulationsDraft corporate governance documents, including resolutions, consents, and minutesSupport periodic and ad hoc regulatory reporting and related internal processes including, but not limited to, Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements, Section 16 filings, and maintenance of the company's insider trading compliance programCollaborate on company-wide initiatives and other special projects as needed
What We Look For
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required5+ years of paralegal or related experienceStrong organizational skills, with an emphasis on managing time, documents, projects and relationshipsExtreme attention to detail, ability to adjust on the fly, problem-solving skills, intellectual maturity, business acumen and a great attitudeExcellent writing and communication skillsDatabase management experience Ability to thrive in a fast-paced growing companyA self-starter mentality, with the confidence to work independently and take initiative without oversight
Salary
Compensation Range: $80,000 - $100,00025% Bonus Target Equity stock options packageThis is the compensation range for the United States, actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience, location, or evolving business needs
