JOB SUMMARY:Lead Cabinetworks Group compliance program focused on raw material and finished goods suppliers, ensuring that all activities adhere to legal requirements and internal policies. Maintain operational integrity by mitigating compliance risks and promoting ethical practices throughout the organization. Provide effective leadership for the compliance team. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, implement, and manage the trade compliance strategies and programs to ensure organizational compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.Oversee the development and revision of company policies and procedures to remain aligned with changing laws and regulations.Conduct and oversee regular internal reviews and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Manage and coordinate compliance activities with suppliers and departments across Cabinetworks to ensure integration of compliance practices.Lead, train, and mentor the compliance team to effectively execute day-to-day activities and support professional development.Serve as the primary point of contact for all regulatory bodies, managing any audits or investigations, and overseeing the resolution of compliance issues.Prepare and present detailed reports on compliance activities and incidents to senior management and relevant committees.Stay abreast of industry developments and adjust compliance strategies accordingly.Foster a company-wide culture of compliance and ethical behavior through effective communication, training, and proactive management practices. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a compliance role, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership position, ideally within a manufacturing industry.Comprehensive knowledge of the specific regulatory environment pertaining to cabinet manufacturingProven track record of dealing with regulatory agencies, internal audits, and compliance assessments.Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally.Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail.Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.Ability to think strategically with supporting analytical skills.Demonstrated successful leadership, including personnel and organization development.Ability to travel internationally as needed (3-6 weeks yearly). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Accreditation related to Global Supply Chain CompliancePrevious involvement and established knowledge with U.S. Customs & Boarder ProtectionUnderstanding of Lacey Act Declarations, HTS Code application, and other material related to customs.Critical thinking and cross functional project implementation abilities.Lean Process Experience (Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
