The Legal team is responsible for managing the legal affairs of the company, including providing legal counsel across the organization, handling disputes, and creating and enforcing intellectual property.

 

The Contracts Manager is responsible for drafting, maintaining, and reviewing contracts and other legal documents; conducting research; delivering training; and effectively communicating legal issues that impact ResMed SaaS. This role also involves reviewing and advising on marketing and promotional materials, and collaborating closely with the Intellectual Property and Global Legal teams to ensure compliance with global legal requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and process contracts for new sales and additional services for B2B SaaS health technology companies.
  • Interact with Sales, Support, R&D, Professional Services, and Finance departments, as well as customers, on contract-related issues.
  • Draft and negotiate contract terms, including licensing and other standard contract terms.
  • Coordinate with various business functions and cross-functional teams to complete contracting documents.
  • Interpret and modify contract terms in line with company policies.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on legal matters.
  • Manage and maintain a contracts database.
  • Research and provide answers to contract content questions.
  • Perform administrative functions and other tasks as directed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) and has passed the bar.
  • Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent writing and reasoning skills.
  • High level of drive towards execution and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal direction.
  • Experience in contractual agreements, confidentiality, rights and obligations, termination, remedies, indemnification, and limitation of liability.
