About The Role
$24-25/hr100% onsite. Open to candidates who reside in Dallas, Seattle, Nashville, or Washington DC (there are corporate offices in these locations)6 month contract with potential for extension/conversionMonday-Friday 8-5pm
Responsibilities
Responding to OSHA complaintsResponding to Fire Department Violations Heavy writing and heavy editingWorking on different projects with several deadlinesOSHA complaint example: ”our site doesn’t have enough bathrooms in the site." Candidate would be drafting responses back to OSHA, drafting responses back and forth with the site, then working back and worth with legal to resolve complaint 5-7 days turnaroundFire Department Violations (ex: sprinklers don’t work): the FD givers a certain number of days until it needs to be fixed, you’ll be drafting letters to the site asking them when it’s going to be fixed, and constantly following up with sites to fix these issues
Essential Skills
Bachelors degree required3+ years of legal experience preferably as a paralegal3+ years of legal writing experienceStrong communication skillsProactive individual who is not afraid to pick up the phone and call someone
