As a member of the Product Counseling team, you’ll partner with innovative product teams around the world to ensure we can achieve our business strategy and deliver amazing customer benefits while ensuring we stay compliant.
As a core legal partner for Intuit’s Consumer Group, which includes our TurboTax and Credit Karma products, you’ll advise and counsel on a wide variety of matters, including AI/ML, consumer protection, data privacy and data protection, mobile, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is passionate and tech-savvy, with a solid understanding of product compliance as well as artificial intelligence and innovation generally.

What you'll bring
At least 6-8 years of experience primarily advising technology companies, either at a law firm or in-houseSignificant breadth of knowledge in as many of the following areas as possible: consumer protection, AI/ML, advertising and marketing laws, financial services, data privacy and protection, and competition lawComfort navigating uncharted areas and balancing risk and opportunityAbility to think creatively and enable smart decision-makingAbility to communicate effectively and counsel business partners about regulatory obligations and risk managementAbility to produce clear and succinct legal analysisAbility to interact with and lead change with senior executive leadersAbility to effectively frame issues to drive strategic thinking and executionExcellent communication, teaching, and training skillsExcellent driver and project managerExcellent business acumenDemonstrated ability to perform with minimal supervisionExperience providing legal support on a global scaleJD and membership in good standing with at least one US State Bar
How you will lead
As a core legal partner and product counsel to Intuit’s Consumer Group, you’ll be challenged to apply your legal expertise across a number of areas, partnering closely with product management, business strategy, engineering, content design, marketing, security, compliance and operations teams, and more.You’ll lead day-to-day product and business counseling for TurboTax Live Assisted products, advising on a variety of cutting edge matters, including AI/ML, data privacy, advertising and marketing, and regulatory compliance.
