Description: 

Fox Rothschild LLP has an opening in the Greenville office for a non-partnership track litigation associate. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of general commercial litigation experience. This is a full-time position but affords a more predictable work schedule than a traditional associate position.

 

Qualifications: 

Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of South Carolina.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience with product liability, toxic and mass torts, and personal injury is preferred.
  • Strong research skills, writing skills, and academic record are required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic litigation team.

 

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

 

 VISUAL ACUITY

  • Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
