Fox Rothschild has an opening for a Litigation attorney with commercial litigation experience. This position can reside in the Firm’s Philadelphia or New York offices and entails managing all phases of litigation and includes constant client interaction. Qualified candidates will be experienced litigators with eight to twelve years of experience.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the state where the office resides.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Superior academic record and excellent writing skills required.
• Experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation, including contract and business disputes, and white-collar defense.
• Significant first-chair trial experience required.
• Clerkship experience preferred.
• Large law firm experience is preferred, but not required.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.

 Visual Acuity

• Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

Compensation & Benefits

• The salary range for this position applies to New York. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position $275,000 - $325,000 in New York.
