E-Discovery Attorney - *Sign on Bonus*

Epiq Enhanced Attorney Services is partnering with an established confidential client to identify an  e-Discovery Attorney to  join their  Raleigh North Carolina  office. This is a limited duration role anticipated to last 12 months with strong potential to be converted to a permanent employee.  _This is a  _ hybrid   position working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office and remote the remaining days.   If you have at least five years of eDiscovery and substantive legal experience, outstanding interpersonal skills, a keen attention to detail and interest in working for a leading organization, we encourage you to apply!   What we are looking for:

  • Experience in all phases of the EDRM, including identification, preservation, collection, review, and production.
  • Experience in conducting interviews with IT, developing, and implementing a preservation strategy
  • Experience in negotiating ESI protocols
  • Experience in conducting custodial interviews.
  • Experience in Relativity and familiarity with other e-discovery tools
  • Experience in drafting and testing keyword searches.
  • Experience in document review management at a law firm, in-house legal department, or consulting firm
  • Experience in document production in Relativity and quality assurance testing of coding calls
  • Substantive legal experience outside of eDiscovery (you will have a case load when eDiscovery projects are slower)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Managing multiple fast-moving projects at a given time
  • Adapting work schedule to support client engagements in various time zones (when required)
  • Solving problems with an analytical approach to provide solutions to clients
  • BS or BA required
  • Juris Doctorate degree required
  • Actively licensed lawyer in good standing in jurisdiction of residence, NC licensure preferred

What you will be doing:

  • Be the point of contact for in-house legal department on e-discovery (practitioner)
  • Be the lead attorney on a caseload, including affirmative and defensive litigation, and internal investigations
  • Develop and execute project plans for each stage of the EDRM
  • Collaborate with clients and technology providers to leverage AI technology in the e-discovery platform
  • Implement custom workflows to reduce costs and enhance speed-to-evidence for clients
  • Responsible for maintaining standard documentation and templates, including ESI protocols, Protective Orders, review protocols, training guides and review workflows in conjunction with e-discovery vendor and national e-discovery counsel
  • Provide internal and/or external review teams with necessary feedback and guidance to deliver industry leading speed and accuracy
  • Train to foster a collaborative team environment that identifies and solves problems
  • Other duties as assigned
