Nelson Mullins is in search of a Litigation Associate to join its Litigation group in the Columbia, South Carolina office. This is an opportunity for an associate to join an expanding and fast-paced practice that offers a range of litigation services to clients in a variety of industries.

Nelson Mullins’ Columbia SC office was established in 1897 by Patrick Henry Nelson. Today in Columbia, we have approximately 115 attorneys and 230 support staff providing client services across a range of practice areas, including corporate, litigation, intellectual property, government relations, and e-discovery.

Nelson Mullins’ office in Columbia also hosts the Firm’s business and administrative functions, including our financial, human resources, marketing, operations and technology teams, enabling us to maintain infrastructure cost-efficiencies while also providing access to talent here in South Carolina’s capital city. Located just blocks from the South Carolina State House building and minutes from the University of South Carolina, other downtown businesses, the Columbia Museum of Art, and the “Vista” arts area, Nelson Mullins has established itself as a prominent presence in the Columbia legal and business communities. You have meaningful experience in litigation. You’re prepared to draft and argue discovery motions and take and defend depositions. You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills with strong academic credentials. You are adept in case management and are ready to take the lead. You are admitted to the South Carolina Bar.
