Job Title: Coordinator, Legal Recruiting

Position Summary
The Legal Recruiting Coordinator will support the Manager, Legal Recruiting with aspects of attorney recruiting and hiring and onboarding, including on-campus/law student recruitment and the summer associate program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Liaise with law schools on aspects of student recruitment, including registration for on-campus interviews and job fairs
Coordinate recruitment events, and also attend and track specific recruitment events
Schedule applicants for callback interviews, and track school-specific offers
Assist in planning the summer associate program, including planning and attending specific summer events
Prepare and track summer associate evaluations
Prepare law school surveys and feedback forms
Assist with law school presentations and programs
Greet applicants upon arrival, provide office tours and escort applicants to interviews
Additional projects as assigned by the department Chief and Managers
Attend NALP and BALRA sponsored programs
Assist with local office Affinity group events and collaborate with the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion department
Qualifications/Position Requirements
Self-motivated, proactive, positive, team player
Punctual, reliable, and flexible to work long hours as needed
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact collaboratively and effectively with attorneys and staff
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills, and a meticulous attention to detail including the ability to proofread for typographical, spelling, grammatical, and formatting errors
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a time-sensitive environment while maintaining the highest standards of work quality
Good judgment and professional maturity including the ability to manage confidential information with the utmost discretion
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other applications as needed
Travel for recruiting events as needed
Experience with viDesktop is a plus
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
2 – 4 years’ recruiting experience in a law firm environment, or equivalent education and work experience preferred
Compensation
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
