THE POSITION

The Compliance Analyst will be joining the Compliance Organization within the Legal and Compliance team. The primary purpose of this position is the on-boarding of credit card issuer partners, managing card profile configurations, website assistance, facilitating reporting for issuer network, and the on-going support of issuers.

In addition, this person will assist troubleshooting of identified card compliance issues as well as collaborating with internal and external parties to enhance and grow the efficiency of the card compliance program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Input and manage all credit card details within LendingTree platforms in accordance wit issuer and compliance guidelines
  • Act as a liaison between the business development team and key partners including technology, product, marketing, content, accounting/legal, etc.
  • Build and leverage networks and relationships internally and externally.
  • Identify potential compliance issues promptly, track and monitor remediation plans.
  • Collaborate with other LendingTree departments as well as external clients, to both resolve compliance issues and execute enhancements to LendingTree Cards sites.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a compliance, legal or marketing review function, preferably a banking or fintech organization. Applicants with nontraditional backgrounds but with the required skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Possess excellent time management skills, self-sufficient, and able to work independently and follow-up on and track multiple projects at a time.
  • Strong project manager skills and ability to influence others to complete tasks on time.
  • Interest in completing highly detailed focus work to a very high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly dynamic work environment with frequent tight deadlines.
  • Must have proven ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to a constantly changing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with JIRA and agile methodology a plus. Able to quickly pick up new or proprietary systems and software.
  • Familiarity with credit card compliance a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with consumer banking regulations (GLBA, Reg Z, Reg E, UDAAP, Fair Lending, FCRA, etc.) a strong plus.
  • Flexibility in taking on additional responsibilities over time as the job requires support of new and innovative processes.
