Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Expertise: Specialize in a wide range of employee-related laws and regulations, including anti-discrimination and harassment law, pay laws, leave of absence laws, and reductions in force.
• Labor Relations:  Provide expert guidance and counsel on labor relations, including assisting with labor negotiations.
• Training & Compliance: Deliver training and legal counsel to ensure compliance with labor and employment laws and policies.
• Contract Management: Review and draft various employment-related agreements.
• Litigation & Representation: Represent the company (or manage outside counsel) in litigation, mediations, employment/labor arbitrations, and before various administrative agencies.
• Policy Development: Draft and develop employment-related policies and procedures.
• Investigations: Advise on or conduct internal investigations to ensure legal and ethical standards are upheld.

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 12 years of licensed practice in US labor and employment law.
• Extensive experience in traditional labor law.
• Member in good standing with the relevant Bar.
