The Paralegal performs substantive and procedural legal tasks requiring knowledge of legal concepts which are customarily, but not exclusively, performed by a lawyer in the delivery of corporate and legal services to the organization. S/he organizes and supervises processes and special projects as they may arise.

 

Job Function Description:

  • Drafts, reviews, negotiates, advises regarding and/or approves policies, procedures, contracts and related documents for business operations, and generally to support business operations and promote the company's objectives and interests.


Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  • Supports management by responding to routine matters and questions.
  • Monitors industry developments pertaining to functional area.
  • Conducts research and gathers information.
  • Assists in the preparation of legal and corporate documentation to support attorneys.

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience: 2 years; Paralegal experience with a law firm or corporate legal department

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to define problems, collect relevant information.
  • Ability to establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to work independently on matters within the purview of the position.
  • Strong PC skills, particularly MS Office suite of applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, supervisory and administrative skills.

Working Conditions:  Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking.  Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.  Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

$67,500.00 USD

Maximum:

$100,000.00 USD
