Position Title: Cyber Assurance and Compliance Manager

Location: TX/FL - major market areas; Dallas/Fort Worth, Jacksonville and Miami

Your role

Digital Realty’s Cyber Resilience Team is the front line for all things pertaining to our company’s digital security posture. The Cyber Assurance and Compliance Manager role involves conducting audits and assessments and assisting with risk management reviews and third-party assessments. In this role, your goal is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of an organization’s data and systems. You also work with teams across the organization to identify and mitigate cybersecurity compliance risks and manage reporting on cybersecurity compliance to both internal and external stakeholders. You document the organization's cybersecurity compliance posture in written reports, manage compliance efforts to meet both internal and external deadlines, and help prioritize the most critical compliance gaps to be addressed first.

What You’ll Do

• Independently drive end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of assigned deliverables supporting compliance monitoring and internal controls activities.
• Conduct and document internal risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with company policies, customer obligations and leading frameworks such as NIST and recommend remediation actions as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Privacy, Legal, IT Infrastructure, Compliance and Operation Departments) to identify and mitigate cyber security risks across IT and OT platforms, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to ensure they support emerging technologies and new regulatory requirements.
• Hands on experience in managing policy exceptions and risk acceptance processes, including risk analysis, mitigation, and remediation plans.
• Review of security clauses in customer or third-party contractual documents to ensure compliance and regulatory alignment.
• Provide leadership and guidance on IT best practices, risk management, and policy development.
• Conduct and lead assignment of annual security awareness trainings for the company.
• Support development of Security and Non-compliance reporting for senior leadership and recommend remediations, as necessary.
• Conduct and collaborate annual cybersecurity risk assessment as part of enterprise risk assessment efforts.
• Support with third party risk assessments and periodic monitoring of security posture.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Must have 6+ years IT compliance experience.
• Hands experience using ServiceNow IRM/GRC tool is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in IT policy management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Having certification such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, GRCP, or related.
• Having knowledge and understanding of leading global security frameworks and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, NIST 800 series, ISO 27001, AICPA SOC2, OSPAR, K-ISMS, NIS2).
