About the Role: 

The Legal Analyst will play a pivotal role streamlining and enhancing the Legal team’s systems. We will rely on you to optimize internal and external collaborations as our organization continues its meteoric expansion. Your ability to quickly learn and adapt is crucial, as you will need to independently identify areas for improvement and implement solutions with minimal oversight, while maintaining a keen attention to detail. While experience in legal operations at a technology company is preferred, we are open to limited experience in someone with a proven interest in finntech and an unwavering drive to succeed. This role is based in our San Francisco office in a hybrid capacity on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as primary steward of our CLM system in Ironclad
  • Spearhead its continuous enhancement and optimization throughout the organization
  • Manage permissions, ownership, and user access
  • Initiate company-wide trainings and campaigns to ensure teams are informed of policies and processes
  • Manage a repository of company forms, agreements, and templates for accuracy and relevance
  • Identify and introduce cutting-edge tools as appropriate to enhance or streamline existing legal practices
  • Manage end-to-end processes (from design to system rollout and training)
  • Incorporate visual or other innovative communication methods to convey ideas quickly and effectively
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategic and operational project plans
  • Achieve defined objectives and incorporate data-driven reporting to reflect progress

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor's degree (prefer economics, finance, business or applied science)
  • Proven interest in financial technology and an unwavering drive to succeed and/or 3+ years in legal operations at a technology company
  • Experience with conditional logic or coding, (plus if demonstrated expertise with Ironclad, including ability to build playbooks, automate repositories and develop policies)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects and secure support from diverse stakeholders (with minimal supervision)
  • A true team player with a "no task is too big or too small" mindset, willing to contribute and collaborate at all levels to achieve team goals

The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $80,000 - $110,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
