JOB SUMMARY:

This regulatory role sits within the larger Legal Department team at Anheuser-Busch, the largest brewer in the United States. The role supports the growth of Anheuser-Busch’s vast U.S. alcohol beverage licensing portfolio leading on new licensing applications, and the role protects Anheuser-Busch’s existing licenses to operate by maintaining renewals with various federal and state alcohol beverage regulatory agencies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain U.S. regulatory licensing portfolio for Anheuser-Busch, running point on all license renewals
  • Support the growth of the business, working closely with the regulatory attorneys and leading on license applications to obtain new operational capacity in the U.S. (e.g. new brewery, brewpub, distillery)
  • Develop relationships and communicate regularly with federal and state alcohol beverage regulatory agencies on licensing issues
  • Procure certificates of free sale from state and federal agencies for the export of Anheuser-Busch’s domestically manufactured products to locations across the globe
  • Register, maintain and update FDA Food Facility Registrations for our production and storage facilities both domestically and abroad
  • Other projects as assigned that will develop new skills and contribute to personal and professional growth

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and concurrently manage numerous files
  • Strong technical skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ambition to develop new skills and contribute on projects that drive commercial growth
  • Positive attitude and interest in working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience working with regulatory agencies a plus, but not required
  • No J.D. required or desired for this role
  • Paralegal or bachelor’s degree required
