Postion Details

As the Senior Manager, Compliance and Enterprise Risk, you will help foster an ethical culture by working to prevent, detect, and mitigate compliance risks. Reporting to the Vice President, Associate General Counsel – Ethics & Compliance, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing compliance risks globally, designing and implementing compliance policies, and measuring the efficacy of compliance programs and investigations. This role is based in our Chicago/Lake Forest, IL location.

You Will

  • Policy Development and Implementation – Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and controls tailored to the company's risk profile and regulatory requirements, including those relating to third-party diligence. Oversee the implementation of these policies globally, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and evolving legal standards. Provide trainings as necessary.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation – Lead or co-lead regular risk assessments on topics such as corruption (e.g., FCPA and U.K. Bribery Act), conflicts of interest, and fraud. Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks, working closely with internal audit, finance, legal, and global business partners to implement effective controls.
  • Measure Efficacy - Develop and maintain key performance indicators and related metrics to measure and improve the company's compliance performance and the effectiveness and efficiency of the compliance program.
  • Investigation Management – Partner with HR, legal, and other functions to ensure that the internal investigation process is effective at detecting and resolving compliance concerns. Marshal investigations data to detect trends and provide reports to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Compliance Advising - Stay informed of changes in laws and regulations globally, assessing their impact on the company's operations and updating policies. Serve as a subject matter expert on anticorruption, conflict of interest, and other compliance matter providing guidance to senior management and business units/functional departments on complex issues.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote transparency and integrity in business practices.

You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in compliance, internal audit, legal, or related roles in a multinational organization
  • In-depth knowledge of anticorruption laws and regulations, such as the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), UK Bribery Act, and other relevant international standards
  • Experience using data analytics to assess risks or measure the efficacy of compliance programs
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Fluency in multiple languages and experience working in diverse cultural environments is a plus.
