Job Description

We are seeking a self starter with a helpful attitude to work as a Legal Assistant! This position reports to Envision’s Assistant General Counsel, Revenue Cycle Management (“RCM”) and assists in providing support for a wide array of Out-of-Network arbitration and RCM matters. This role provides direct support to attorneys and team responsible for RCM data entry, team administration, email inbox monitoring/management, advice/counsel, legal research and other projects. This is a contract position for a 3 month term.

Responsibilities

These are your responsibilities :

  • Schedules and coordinates meetings and appointments.
  • Parses through centralized inbox for emails related to RCM and Out-of-Network Arbitration activities.
  • Processes received correspondence and ensures it is timely received by owner of required action.
  • Prepares legal documents and correspondence for use by attorneys.
  • Communicates with internal business partners in connection with RCM and Out-of-Network Arbitration matters.
  • Assist attorneys in creation of processes and improvement of existing processes.
  • Manages Team SharePoint.
  • Performs records research.
  • Serves as a point of contact for the Out-of-Network Arbitration team with other members of the Legal department, and internal business partners.
  • Works on special projects as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Minimum two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Healthcare industry, RCM or arbitration experience preferred.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Salesforce experience desired.
  • PowerBI experience desired.
  • Intermediate Excel experience is desired.
  • Intermediate Excel experience is desired.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills required.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to work autonomously and independently
  • Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner
