The Team
The U.S. Division of American Tower is seeking an Attorney I to join the Real Estate Legal & Compliance group’s Real Estate Legal Due Diligence team. As an Attorney I on the Real Estate Legal Due Diligence team, you will be responsible for the review of title reports/title commitments, surveys, ground leases, perpetual easements and other real estate land documents in order to identity and mitigate risks in real estate transactions. Representative title reviews include confirming ownership of the tower property by reviewing documents such as deeds, probate records, and heirship affidavits, and identifying potential adverse interests by reviewing documents such as mortgages, leases, and easements. Representative survey reviews include confirming the legal description of the tower compound area as well as related easements and ensuring the presence of adequate access from the tower compound to a public right of way and the lack of any encroachments.
