Compliance Analyst

The Opportunity:

As a consultant on our team, you will have the opportunity to apply your expert understanding of social science disciplines to analyze and improve programs and policies. You will be responsible for translating complex data into concise yet comprehensive reports to satisfy various Congressionally mandated people-and-culture-related requirements, such as those pertaining to equal opportunity (EO), civil rights, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). You will draft data calls for stakeholders across the Department of Defense to meet reporting requirements, assess existing policies and programs, recommend revisions to address compliance gaps and areas for improvement. You will also help manage project schedules and inform internal and external stakeholders of updates while synthesizing feedback from stakeholders into coherent work products. You will draft information papers and briefings to present findings to executives. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to solving a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity while also having the opportunity to work independently, with some guidance. You'll work closely with clients to frame and analyze problems and applies logical structure and evidence-based reasoning to recommend solutions.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience working in contemporary social science and public health field
  • 2+ years of experience serving as a key author on reports and technical documents or assessing organizational compliance with requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, working in a military environment, or with Federal government clients
  • Experience working on projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of people and culture, such as EO, civil rights, and DEIA policies and programs
  • Ability to translate data into clear, readable documents to be utilized by both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to be a self-starter, effectively manage competing priorities, and thrive in a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Ability to provide samples of reports, briefings, or other work products to demonstrate writing and information organization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Policy and Social Science

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with analyzing or implementing people and culture, such as EO, civil rights, and DEIA policies and programs
  • Experience creating reports, information papers, briefing decks, and other products for senior leader audiences
  • Experience conducting compliance assessments and other detail oriented analyses
  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense and the Federal Government’s policy development and revision process
  • Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity and Military Equal Opportunity policies and practices
  • Possession of excellent analytical skills to assess current policies, identify gaps, and provide analytical recommendations for new policy language
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree in a Social Science

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
