As a senior contracts attorney in Progressive’s Corporate Legal Department, you’ll work closely with procurement and sourcing teams to review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial transactions. You’ll support the delivery of legal services including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and related legal, compliance, and business matters while promoting and protecting Progressive’s business and legal interests. You’ll also support due diligence with respect to related subject matters, and related integration activities, for potential mergers and acquisitions.

This is a remote role.

Must-have Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate
  • Active license to practice law in at least one state; Active or Corporate license in state where working

Preferred Skills

Minimum five years of legal experience/training

  • Extensive experience drafting and negotiating a broad array of commercial contracts, including sourcing and IT contracts
  • Experience with due diligence reviews and integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions
  • Excellent interpersonal, multi-tasking, communication and negotiation skills
  • Sound legal, analytical, problem solving, drafting, and risk assessment skills

Compensation

  • $109,300 - $156,100/year
  • Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
  • Participation in our restricted stock units plan
