Consilio/LOD ELS Talent Solutions is seeking is seeking a Contract/Interim Deputy General Counsel for our client, an economic consulting firm in Washington DC. A contract/Interim Deputy General Counsel is needed for a prominent Washington, DC economic consulting firm. This opportunity is for candidates living commutable distance to Washington, DC only.Hybrid: requires 2-3 days in DC office/week Pay rate range: $100 - $150/hour. Pay rate depends on numerous factors including level of directly relevant experience.Estimated duration: 4 months – January 2025– April 2025, or longerMust be barred in any US state, active & in good standing, with experience listed belowRecent in-house Assoc/Deputy GC experience preferredHybrid: 2-3 days in DC office/weekInterview, references and background check will be requiredExperience required: Candidates must have strong, recent contracts experience from in-house legal department including drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, drafting new and renewed service agreements, business agreements, NDAs, letters of intent, etc. This experience must be clearly detailed on your resume in order to be considered.Familiarity with litigation processConflicts experience preferred: draft/review waivers, engagement letters, guidelines, etc.Strong written and oral communication skillsELS Consilio Direct Hire Division staffs positions for Consilio clients and does not staff for internal corporate positions Consilio.
