A leading Fin-tech company is seeking an experienced litigation counsel to assist the company on a full-time (40 hours per week) contract basis for an initial 6 month term.

Scope of Work

Title: Litigation Counsel (Secondment)

Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Remote

Hours: 40 Hours / Week

Duration: 6 Months (From 1/20/2025 until 7/20/2025)

Pay Rate: $90 - $110 ($180,000 - $200,000 annualized)

Act on the front line of litigation, regulatory, and law enforcement activities. Responsibilities include managing pre-litigation, litigation and alternative dispute resolution for a wide variety of customer-related disputes. As an attorney in this role, you will gain a deep understanding of the organizations products, resolve conflicts, and help shape relationships with customers.

Qualifications

You will:

• Field and resolve legally sensitive complaints from customers
• Support internal teams on issues of risk, compliance, trust and safety, and accessibility
• Directly support and handle small claims and arbitration matters
• Manage outside counsel for larger matters

You have:

• JD and are a member in good standing of at least one State bar
• Minimum 5 years experience in litigation at top tier law firm, government, or in-house
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with emphasis on verbal communication
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal business partners
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
