Overview

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Provide administrative, filing and process support, primarily for real estate and, where possible, other business units, including but not limited to file creation, filing, maintenance of electronic lease files, and document distribution.Provide administrative and process support for the Legal Department, including but not limited to preparing expense reports, booking travel, coordinating internal events and catering, ordering supplies and scheduling meetings.Process, distribute and file all Legal Department mail; manage general Legal Department email inbox to assist business stakeholders with general inquiries. Under supervision, conduct review and research and provide oral and written feedback to the business on materials submitted to the Legal Department.Attend business meetings as a representative of the Legal Department and exercise judgment to gather information from the business in order to draft legal documents.Support new or special projects, initiatives and programs as needed.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree Preferred3-5 years experience, including experience as an administrative assistant or paralegal at a law firm or corporate legal departmentParalegal Certification PreferredPennsylvania Notary PreferredFamiliarity with contract management software, matter management software and billing a plusFamiliarity with and ability to draft letters, notices and other basic legal documents (with or without templates)Works independently with guidance in complex situationsPrioritizes workload and adheres to deadlinesContributes to process improvements
