Legal.io is working with a leading tech company who is seeking a Legal Operations Analyst for a 10 month contract. The Legal Operations Analyst will focus on managing eBilling processes for global legal functions. This includes ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in invoicing and payment procedures.

Title: Legal Operations Analyst
Location: Remote (United States)
Hours: 40 Hours / Week
Technology: Brightflag, Slack
Duration: 10 Months (January - October 2025)
Pay Rate: $40-$45 / hour ($80,000 - $90,000 annualized)

Key Responsibilities
eBilling System Management:
- Support day-to-day management of the eBilling system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and law firms for onboarding, training, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Manage rejected invoices and international invoice AP processing.
- Build ad hoc reports and conduct training for legal and finance teams.
- Participate in eBilling platform integration with Oracle projects.
Vendor Management:
- Maintain relationships with external law firms and legal service providers.
- Facilitate vendor onboarding and billing policy acknowledgment processes.
Legal Matter Process:
- Coordinate and execute system training for global legal and finance teams.
- Resolve issues related to new legal matters.
- Validate data mapping between eBilling and workflow systems.
- Additional legal operations initiatives may be supported as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in legal eBilling (preferably in-house or with a law firm).
- Strong Legal eBilling platform experience (preferably Brightflag)
- Familiarity with legal billing practices and fee arrangements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, and other software tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
