Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with trademark portfolio management, U.S. and foreign trademark prosecution filings, U.S. and foreign trademark oppositions, cancellations, and other disputes.
• Prepare legal documents and evidence of trademark use and brand recognition.
• Verify and manage deadlines and prepare substantive reports to the client.
• Document and evidence management.
• Various other tasks as requested/needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can work independently and efficiently on numerous tasks of varying levels of complexity at any given time.
• Ability to meet the Firm’s billable hours requirement while maintaining excellent service and producing consistently high-quality work product that meets or exceeds the Firm’s quality standards.
• Excellent data entry, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and coordinate projects.
• Ability to use good judgment, initiative, and command of resources to accomplish results.
• Ability to work well as a team member.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and follow instructions effectively from a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff and to provide information with courtesy and tact.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Flexibility and ability to prioritize a continually changing workload.
• Ability to work well under pressure and be self-motivated.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe.
  
  

Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for the position in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.

California Pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience, is $55k - $60k.
