FOX Corporation is seeking an experienced complex commercial litigator with experience in intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, or copyrights, to support the litigation division as a Vice President, Litigation and IP. The Vice President, Litigation and IP will play a vital role in handling a broad spectrum of litigation cases, with particular emphasis on defending and enforcing intellectual property rights and advocating on First Amendment issues as they relate to the company. The Vice President, Litigation and IP is situated in Los Angeles and offers the option to work in a hybrid office setting. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative legal team and engaging with various business sectors within the company. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESRepresent the company in federal and state court proceedings on a variety of general litigation mattersHandle cases involving Intellectual Property litigation, as well as First Amendment litigationAdvise on risk management and mitigation strategies pertaining to potential litigationPerform legal research, draft/revise briefs, motions, and other legal documentsProvide counsel to the company on the legal implications of potential business decisions, particularly in areas impacting IP and First Amendment rightsCollaborate closely with external counsel to manage complex litigation issuesAssist in the development and implementation of company policies and compliance procedures to minimize legal risks WHAT YOU WILL NEED8+ years of experience in general litigation, with a strong background in IP litigation and knowledge of First Amendment lawJuris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic recordMembership in good standing with the California Bar, or eligibility to register as In-House Counsel in CaliforniaProven track record of successfully managing and resolving complex litigation casesExcellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong negotiation and interpersonal abilitiesCapability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with the agility to respond to high-pressure situationsProactive nature and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKERPrior experience within the entertainment or media industryExperience with a variety of litigation types, including intellectual property, First Amendment, and commercial disputesLitigation experience in both federal and state courts #LI-DNI

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $222,500.00-310,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
