Job Summary and Qualifications

HCA is looking for a Senior Counsel Physician Contracting that will support HCA Physician Services with its day-to-day legal activities and other corporate departments and service lines as assigned. This Senior Counsel role will report to the Managing Operations Counsel and will work closely with Physician Services leadership.

Responsibilities

• Review, approve, and manage physician and other contracts
• Provide counsel to Physician Services on regulatory issues and serve as a resource for the legal component of operational questions
• Assist with ensuring awareness of and compliance with applicable laws and company policies and procedures
• Assist with the development of internal policies, procedures and forms
• Collaborate with, and provide guidance and assistance to, colleagues in the Legal Department

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from accredited law school & active membership in at least one state bar
• 10+ years of experience in /as legal counsel
• Admission to the Tennessee bar
