The Role:
Armis is growing, fast, and with it the Legal team is expanding as well! At this time, we are looking for an experienced senior commercial & business counsel to join the team. You will engage in sophisticated and varied legal work as part of our global legal team and cross-functionally with Armis' Sales, Finance, Support, Product, among others.
The selected individual is able to handle a variety of commercial transactions, analyze complex text, identify key issues, provide pragmatic solutions within departmental guidelines, maintain excellent service orientation, and foster collegial relations.
To succeed in this role, you will apply a business-minded approach combined with strong understanding of our business, commercial, products, partnerships, sales and other go-to-market dynamics, and an ability to organize and implement various processes.
The ability to expand your current legal and business knowledgebase is crucial for success in this role, as are exceptional analytical skills and above all, can-do positive attitude.
What you will do:
Review and draft various commercial agreements involving commercial, licensing, privacy, security, SaaS, intellectual property rights, technology integrations, and similar typical matters, based on playbooks, best practices and your knowledge of relevant US and (ideally) EU laws, regulations and industry best practicesHandle one-off intricate commercial negotiations and associated contract drafting involving product development, products integrations, revenue sharing schemes, distribution and resale rights, and alike complex tech-centric commercial transactionsHelp create a range of commercial contracts templates, and related playbooks based on best practiceCreate legal trainings for compliance with policies and processesWork cross-functionally to help drive contract review, redlines, signature and trackingAssist with CLM implementation and managementAssist with other matters such as commercial compliance, data privacy, international commercial law, corporate documentation and compliance managementManage special projects
What we expect:
Experience in, and ability to learn new legal environments typical to global high growth tech companies7+ years work experience in a relevant roleExperience with commercial contracts and corporate compliance administration; familiarity and awareness of the SaaS industry highly desirableMeaningful experience with typical statutes relevant to commercial transactions in the US and globally (primarily EU)Experience with public sector transactions highly desirableLaw degree and/or ample experience with commercial transactions and contracts lawSubstantial experience and comfort level with G-suite as well as Microsoft Office SuiteExperience and ability to work in a fast pace, high growth, rapidly changing business environmentPositive can-do attitude with strong initiative and follow throughExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to create and maintain databases and spreadsheet filesAttention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skillsProviding support to and working within a team of professionalsMeets/exceeds Armis' leadership principles and values requirements for this role

Salary range guidance for this position is: $200,000 - $240,000 per year.
