Key Functions Review, draft, and negotiate construction contracts (with customers, subcontractors, and vendors) Review and negotiate commercial leases Communicate with employees, subcontractors, vendors, and landlords Desired Qualifications Must have 7+ years of Construction Law experience (either transactional or litigation relating to contract negotiation or preparation/litigation of delay claims)Significant prior experience drafting and negotiating commercial leasesPossess strong interpersonal skillsHighly skilled legal writing capabilitiesDegree from an ABA – Accredited law school and strong academic credentialsLicensed to practice law in the State of New YorkAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter, and able to work independentlyMust be able to work in-person from our office located in Melville, NY on a full-time basis Why Haugland?
