Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of law firm experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, calendaring case events, including depositions, hearings and mediations, obtaining filing information from court clerks and /online dockets, downloading e-served documents from court notifications and from counsel, and preparing and distributing master calendar updates to attorneys and legal staff. Demonstrated experience in federal and state court procedures, including calendaring/docketing.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Milana calendaring or comparable docketing software.File&Serve Express experience a plus.Extremely detail-oriented and a self-starter with strong organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Hands-on experience with legal correspondence is a plus.General knowledge of local jurisdictional and federal court rules and procedures and ability to navigate court websites.A team approach to work and ability to juggle multiple projects and respond quickly to changing priorities are essential as this position supports multiple practice groups.
