Why Join us:Top-down commitment to build a highly effective compliance programAgile, entrepreneurial culture where work-life balance is both respected and encouraged and a fantastic teamStrong financial position and revenues with two FDA-approved productsConsistent and substantial revenue growth during each of the last 6 yearsActively seeking other products to add to portfolioCompetitive compensation and benefits commensurate with experience Expectations for first twelve months:Establish collaborative relationships with board of directors, executives, senior leadership, and operational teams to build trust and rapport and to get to know the nuances of business and operationsLead Compliance Committee and Compliance DepartmentConduct company-wide risk assessment and help develop/implement compliance policies, procedures, systems, trainings, and monitoring plans Responsibilities:Report directly to the CEO with dotted line to Board of Directors; close collaboration with General CounselDevelop, implement, and manage comprehensive compliance program to help ensure that business and personnel comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal requirements, as well as applicable industry guidelines:Leading Compliance Committee and Compliance DepartmentConducting annual risk assessmentsDeveloping, implementing, and refining compliance policies, procedures, systems, trainings, and documentationMonitoring compliance and implementing corrective actions as necessaryProactively identifying and mitigating existing and emerging compliance risksPreparing and overseeing compliance reports and presentations to relevant internal and external stakeholdersInvestigating reports of non-compliance or compliance concernsManaging internal and external personnel and resources as necessary to accomplish responsibilitiesManage state and federal aggregate spend reportingPerform additional compliance-related duties/projects as needed or requested Requirements:Essential: Bachelor’s degree; Desirable: Advanced compliance-related degrees and/or certifications a plusSignificant compliance experience in pharmaceutical field, ideally in senior or executive leadership rolePrior experience implementing a CIA, working with HHS-OIG, or working with an IROStrong strategic, communication, and leadership skills with ability to work both independently and cross-functionallyLimited domestic travel (~5-10%) required This position is with an Equal Opportunity Employer: all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran status, disability status, or any other legally protected status.
