We’re looking to build out our roster of high-caliber corporatel counsel for full time and part time roles.
In particular, we’re seeking individuals with the following experience:
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with corporate governance matters, including implementing, maintaining and monitoring various corporate governance practices and policies and preparing board minutes and board resolutions.
- Ability to support due diligence
- Experience with all types of corporate transactions: early stage investments, acquisitions, financing, etc
- Support general corporate matters, including international entity management and records management.
- Provide comprehensive and practical legal advice as it relates to any legal and business commitments of the Company.
- Provide direct assistance to the Corporate Team on various legal issues and projects, as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Experienced legal professional with a track record of supporting in-house teams in a corporate counsel role
- Highly organized and motivated
- Able to work well both as part of a team and independently, with a proven track record of success working with senior management
- Positive mentality and willingness to tackle new and ever-changing business needs
Required Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the bar of any state
- 5+ years of directly related legal experience
- Experience as a corporate attorney, including experience in securities matters or mergers and acquisitions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience representing companies in the technology sector
- In-house experience in addition to strong law firm experience
Role Details:
- New clients need on a weekly basis
- Location: 100% remote
- Full time or part time, contract hire for either 3, 6 or 12 month engagements (some contract engagements will have the option to renew, and others may convert to full time direct hire employment upon successful completion and budgetary allowance)
