OpenLoop is seeking an enterprising and creative Product Counsel to join our growing Legal team remotely or based in our HQ out of Des Moines, IA. As Product Counsel, you will provide teams across the company with practical legal advice supporting cross functional teams in regulatory compliance and contract redlining. You will get to work on interesting and novel issues that arise from the intersection of healthcare and technology. About the RoleResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Partner with our Product, Growth, and Marketing teams to provide legal support on category development, new and existing solutions, marketing and educational materials, and digital product designIdentify privacy and regulatory issues and collaborate with the General Counsel to align on clear, actionable legal guidanceReview customer-facing promotional content, including advertising, website content, social media posts, and product packaging, for compliance with legal and regulatory standardsProvide practical, business-focused, solutions-oriented, clear, and concise legal guidanceDevelop relationships and build trust with business partnersStay informed on product developments, business objectives, and the ever-changing legal landscape affecting the business RequirementsJuris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law schoolActive bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction5+ years of experience practicing law with 3+ years being at a Telehealth companyAbility to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesStrong business judgment and creative mindsetExperience advising on FDA-regulated products preferredExperience advising on intellectual property issues, such as trademarks and copyrightsWorking knowledge of US and state consumer privacy laws and healthcare privacy laws About OpenLoopOpenLoop was co-founded by CEO, Dr. Jon Lensing, and COO, Christian Williams, with the vision to bring healing anywhere.
