Position Overview
The Manager, Compliance will oversee compliance and program management for various aspects related to LO Compensation, including lead source management, compensation program alignment, and other compliance initiatives. This role will focus on ensuring accurate implementation of compensation policies, managing monitoring & testing functions related to compensation, and enhancing compliance tools and processes. This position will collaborate with stakeholders across compliance, finance, operations, and technology to drive consistent compensation practices, mitigate risk, and support organizational objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining compliance within LO compensation programs by supporting the review of commission structures, bonus policies, and compensation adjustments. Coordinate with relevant teams to help ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and organizational standards in LO compensation processes. Collaborate closely with HR, compliance, and finance to support LO compensation plan updates, help with program rollouts and promote alignment with internal policies. Manage all lead source testing and documentation review, ensuring compliance and verifying compensation eligibility. Oversee data integrity for LO compensation elements, including monitoring for compensation discrepancies, handling exception reporting, and conducting regular audits using data from Compensafe, LOS, and other compensation systems. Develop and maintain a robust monitoring & testing framework for LO compensation compliance, ensuring all relevant data sources and tools are leveraged to identify and address compliance risks. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on compensation monitoring & testing findings, trends, and program enhancements to compliance leadership and executive stakeholders. Contribute to regulatory examinations by drafting narratives, preparing data sets, and conducting investigations to support compliance reviews. Serve as the SME for all LO compensation matters, providing expert guidance to business stakeholders and delivering training to ensure alignment with company policy. Partner with cross-functional teams to design and deliver training materials and job aids to improve adherence to LO compensation and lead source policies. Act as a key stakeholder for inquiries received through the department inbox and hotline, addressing questions and concerns related to the role’s scope and coordinating responses with relevant teams.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education/experience. 3+ years of experience in compensation, compliance, or audit management within the mortgage or financial services industry, with specific experience managing LO compensation programs, preferred. Proficiency with Encompass, Compensafe, Tableau, or equivalent systems, a plus. Experience in compliance management or a related field, with an understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance best practices. Experience in front-end mortgage operations and/or project management, highly preferred. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent prioritization and time management skills.

Pay Range
$55,000-65,000 annuallyThe posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
