Contract Attorney – Team Lead$65-$70/hourStart Date: 2 weeksDuration: 3-6 months TEMPORARY 1099 Contract.Forrest Solutions is seeking an experienced attorney to join a legal team supporting one of our clients as a Contract Attorney Team Lead for a firm in New York City. This fully remote position involves oversight of legal writing, review, and editing projects, particularly in the area of insurance defense. The role requires strong organizational skills and familiarity with New York legal processes or NY Bar admission is highly preferred. Responsibilities:Lead and oversee a team of attorneys working on legal writing, review, and editing for insurance defense matters.Provide guidance and quality assurance to ensure timely and accurate completion of all projects.Act as a point of contact for client communication, ensuring professionalism and maintaining strong relationships.Manage sensitive information and ensure compliance with all relevant legal standards.Requirements:JD doctorate required.3-5 years of experience as an associate at a law firm with leadership experience preferred.Insurance defense experience is required.Demonstrated leadership experience or ability to manage a legal team.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.Familiarity with New York legal process or NY Bar admission is strongly preferred.Strong organizational and time management skills.Compensation:$65 - $70/hour DoEAdditional Requirements:Must submit a cover letter and provide two professional references.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
