A leading social media platform is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its team on a full-time (40 hours per week) contract basis for an initial 6 month term.

Title: Litigation Counsel (Secondment)

Experience: 6+ Years

Location: Remote (California, USA)

Hours: 40 Hours / Week

Duration: 6 Months (From 12/2/2024 until 6/7/2025)

Pay Rate: $97 - $110 / hr

Responsibilities:

• Ability to do general litigation in any area except Employment or IP, including Securities, Contract Disputes, User Harm Cases, etc.
• Manage and oversee litigation matters, including coordinating with outside counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Provide strategic legal advice to the company on litigation risks and opportunities.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex litigation issues.
• Advise on pre-litigation disputes and develop strategies to minimize legal risks.

Qualifications:

• General Litigator with firm and in-house experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the United States.
• At least 5+ years, with preferences for 6-8 years of experience in litigation, preferably with experience in managing complex litigation cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
