We currently have an exciting opening for a Corporate Compliance Counsel. Radial is the pre-eminent B2C eCommerce fulfillment solutions provider powering some of the world’s best customer experiences, specializing in tailored, scalable eCommerce fulfillment solutions for mid-market and enterprise brands.

Role Summary

Radial is presently searching for a Corporate Compliance Counsel where you’ll be tasked with conducting compliance assessments, monitoring regulatory changes and assisting in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures. A key component of this role will be to assist internal clients on compliance matters in order to ensure the organization exercises due diligence and that business objectives are met in a manner that is compliant with existing legal regulations and internal policies.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and follow-up of compliance programs, policies and proceduresSet up a monitoring program to ensure the organizations’ conduct and procedures are consistent with existing legal regulations and compliance programs.Develop a periodical reporting to all relevant internal stakeholders.Coordinate and manage effective compliance training sessions for employees and management to build compliance awareness within the company.Develop and lead internal and external compliance reviews, audits, risk assessments & investigations and prepare reports to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations and inform the compliance team of any changes.Monitor the evolution of legislation and legal regulations: maintain his/her own legal documentation and collaborate proactively in communicating legal updates to colleagues.Collaborate with top/senior management to ensure that compliance standards are understood and met.Effectively advise and assist internal clients and contribute to the correct development and implementation of projects in order to fulfil his/her role as a business partner from a compliance and business perspective.

Qualifications:

5+ years of corporate/transactional experience in a law firm and/or in-house setting. A self-starter that can take ownership of large-scale negotiations with multiple internal stakeholders. Has strong business acumen and savvy, good common sense, and sound judgment, particularly in time sensitive, critical situations. Experience in reviewing, drafting, analyzing, and negotiating complex agreements. Experience in general corporate matters such as entity maintenance and housekeeping. Experience in data security, privacy and outsourcing is a plus. Is self-confident and can instill confidence in dealing with business and legal counterparts inside and outside Radial. Provides high-quality work product in a timely manner to meet demands of Radial. Works well both independently and as a team player Can effectively communicate with legal and non-legal counterparts within Radial at all levels and with outside lawyers, consultants, and advisors. Must be a creative thinker who can initiate and develop alternative resolution approaches to complex issues. Strong oral and written communication skills. Flexible and willing to work on a broad variety of legal and ethical matters. Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school Admission and member in good standing to a state bar.
